Bebe's Inspiring Story

Beatrice Maria Adelaide Marzia Vio, widely known as Bebe Vio, was born on March 4, 1997, in Venice, Italy. Despite being born with meningitis, which led to the amputation of both her arms and legs, Bebe has defied all odds to become a world-renowned fencer, Paralympic champion, and motivational speaker.

Bebe's Accomplishments

Bebe began fencing at the age of 11 and quickly rose through the ranks. She has won numerous medals, including gold at the 2016 and 2020 Paralympic Games in Rio and Tokyo, respectively. Her determination and skill have made her an inspiration to countless people worldwide.

Beyond her athletic achievements, Bebe is also an advocate for social inclusion and disability awareness. She has spoken before international organizations and has been recognized for her work by the European Commission and UNESCO.
